at the Atlanta Ballroom Dance Centre

JUNE EXHIBITION: Huge Audience Shows For Star Studded Exhibition!

The Hall at Knights Of Columbus was filled with
appreciative onlookers as they lined around the walls last Saturday night. It
was like the good ole days once again. At 10:00 P.M. people were still coming in
to witness the upcoming exhibition. They were not disappointed. The cast of
performers came out from different parts of the Hall, one couple after another,
throughout the entire exhibition. Led by spectacular performances from Jorge
Morales and partner Alison McGlamry, dance after dance delighted the audience.
Rubin Hainov and Nicolette Blue showed amazing charisma in their Latin style and
movement, while Rick and Lynda Wilson graced the floor with their incredible
timing and smoothness in Argentine Tango. Mark Garber and Judy Stevens, and
MaryBeth Andrews and Fuad were surprise performers and captivated the audience
with their skill and precision. At the end, once again, the great hall was
filled with tremendous applause and praise.
The exhibition was performed by members of Atlanta Ballroom Dance Centre (ABDCentre),
owned by the lovely Jackie Walls, and also by members of Dance Atlanta,
International, owned by Jorge Morales. Jorge not only danced, but conducted and
produced the overall performance as well. Hours of work and dedication are
required to prepare for such an exhibition. The Atlanta Ballroom Dance Club
would like to thank both ABDCentre and Dance Atlanta for such a great show.
The Atlanta Ballroom Dance Centre is located on Roswell Road, just north of
interstate 285 in the Hildebrand Shopping Center. Owner Jackie Walls has this to
say about her studio:
“Our dance center is designed for all ages to learn social and competition
dancing. We have great dance parties every Thursday evening and the first
Saturday evening of each month. Our group classes cover all dances Sunday
through Saturday and private lessons are given seven days weekly. We also
have coaches available for competitive couples. We are extremely proud of our
children's classes every Sunday from 1 to 2:30 ages ranging from 5 to 16 years.”

JORGE MORALES
Jorge Morales is the founder and
director of Dance Atlanta International. DAI
has been training dancers in the Atlanta area for over a decade. Jorge enjoys
the
experience gained by having trained with internationally renowned coaches and
musicians in Puerto Rico and across the United States. This vast experience is
demonstrated everywhere you see the students of
Dance Atlanta International.
ALISON MCGLAMRY
Nationally ranked International Latin and Americn Rhythm Finalist
RICK AND LYNDA WILSON
specializing in Argentine Tango
For more than 8 years, they have studied this art form with tango masters in
the U.S. and in Buenos Aires, and have been conducting group classes for over 4
years.
RUBIN HAINOV AND NICOLETTE BLUE
International Latin Amateur Couple
Rubin and Nicolette are the up and coming rising stars of the amateur
ballroom dancesport circuit. They have been together a very short period of time
and already have demonstrated an incredible amount of talent. You will
definitely enjoy watching them dance.
