Promoting Ballroom Dancing in Atlanta

Atlanta Ballroom Dance Club holds monthly dances at the Knights of Columbus Hall

Atlanta Dance

Atlanta Dance showed that they can dance with the best of them by displaying great talent at the ABDClub dance in July. Seasoned veteran Ron Mason and Kelly Estapa kicked off the show with a dazzling performance while former national champion Jimi Joseph and his partner Jacqueline Germaine showed outstanding moves and style. Cheers broke out for the young couple Charlie and Samantha when they performed a West Coast Swing number. Charlie ’s amazing smoothness and agility coupled with the incredible precision, balance, and control of Samantha moved the audience. I was dizzy when she completed that incredible series of spins, circling around Charlie twice. All three couples performed marvelously. The lovely Kelly Estapa also performed a tantalizing Belly Dance that had the men in the crowd literally leaning forward over the edge of their seats. And the show closed with a surprise appearance by Chris, the son of owner Phyllis DeNeve, who did a Belly Dance along with Kelly Estapa. It was a great exhibition.
