What is the dress code for the monthly dances?
- Appropriate dress is required at all dances.
No shorts ... no jeans ... no T-shirts ... no tennis shoes
Dressy Casual
Men: Slacks and shirt
Women: Dressy attire
Semi Formal
Men: Coat and tie
Women: Cocktail or evening dress
Are these dances for singles or couples?
- Our dances are for both singles and couples. No partner is needed.
- At the beginning of the night we have a lesson where partners are rotated so that everyone dances with many
people.
- During the dance we have several
mixers (foxtrot or waltz) in which ladies and gentlemen line up and meet a
partner in the middle, then dance down the floor together and get in line
again to meet another partner. These mixers create a friendly atmosphere
and encourage everyone to dance with other partners throughout the night.
What's the average age of the people at these dances?
- We have dancers from their 20's to 80's, but most are in their 40's to 60's.
Where can I park if the Knights of Columbus lot is full? The parking lot at the Knights of
Columbus usually fills up by 8:30 PM, so you can park at one of the following nearby businesses. We have hired a
security guard to help you cross the street.

What is the Alcohol and Smoking policy at the Knights of Columbus Hall?
- No alcohol is permitted to be brought on the premises.
- Alcohol is sold in the bar (beer, wine and mixed drinks).
- Many ballroom dancers drink water which is provided for free.
- Smoking is not permitted in the ballroom. Smoking is either outside or in the Knights of Columbus bar.
