ABDC | Our Organization
The Atlanta Ballroom Dance Club is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting ballroom dancing in the Atlanta area.
We have a public dance on the third Saturday of each month at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Buford Highway. Our dances feature a variety of ballroom dance songs selected by our DJ Cindy Johnson. There are several mixers throughout the night. Sometimes we have a dance exhibition by a local dance studio or company. There is also a drawing for door prizes. Attendance at our monthly dances is usually between 100 and 150 dancers.
We hold weekly lessons for beginners at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Buford Highway. Each month we feature a different dance. The lessons are taught by local area instructors.
Occasionally we sponsor a dance retreat or cruise. There are no membership fees. All our dances, lessons and retreats/cruises are open to everyone.
