The Atlanta Ballroom Dance Club hires local dance instructors to teach our Monday night weekly lessons and the beginner lesson before each of our monthly dances.

Wayne has been teaching in Atlanta since 1986. He has more than 15 years in Pro-Am competition, teaching individual, couples, and group instruction.

Tanya started Ballroom and Latin Dance over 16 years ago in Las Vegas. Since moving to Atlanta 13 years ago, she has enjoyed being a fulltime instructor. Tanya currently teaches both social and competitive dance in the full range of styles and does choreography for shows, weddings and special events. She dances competitively with her students as well as professionally. She is a member of the National Dance Council of America and is certified with Dance Vision International Dance Association and Fred Astaire Dance Studios.

Vonnie Marie is a professional instructor and DJ.  She has been dancing since the age of six; tap, ballet and jazz.  As a dance enthusiast with a desire to expand her professional knowledge, Vonnie directed her talent to the Fred Astaire Dance studio’s instructors’ program, where she studied and later began teaching and competing with other top competing professional instructors.  Over the past 26 years, Vonnie has had coaching with top coaches and she has won championships in many Regional and National Competitions.

Cindy began her dance career with Arthur Murray Studios in Ft. Worth and Atlanta. She has been teaching and competing in ballroom, Latin, swing and country western dancing for over 15 years. She also fills a variety of official positions in local and regional competitions and is the MC/DJ at our monthly dance.

Pat has over twenty years experience teaching ballroom, Latin and swing dancing. She began her dance career at Arthur Murray Studios in Atlanta and Philadelphia. She has won several Top Teacher awards in various competitions, with her students achieving Top Student awards in Bronze, Silver and Gold levels. She is former president of the Atlanta Swing Dancers Club. She teaches private lessons and group classes at local dance studios.

Joe LoCurto began his dancing career in Pennsylvania with the Arthur Murray Dance Studios and soon discovered that there was an opportunity to bring his love of dancing to the Atlanta area. In 1977 he founded LoCurto’s Ballroom Studio. His love and his vision in dance has inspired many of his students to compete and to win in competitions. Joe has put on numerous dance exhibitions for clubs, religious groups and private affairs. He continues to strive and achieve excellence in all aspects of the dance community.

Jeanne began her dance career as an amateur ballroom dancer over 15 years ago. She competed Pro-Am at the Bronze, Silver, and Gold levels where she achieved Top Student recognition. Since turning Pro in 2002, Jeanne has been teaching social and competitive dance in Ballroom, Latin, and Swing. She also competes professionally with select students in the American Smooth and American Rhythm levels. Jeanne enthusiastically shares her passion and love for ballroom dance with her students.

Joey has been teaching ballroom dancing and competing with his students since 1989. His early interest in jazz led him to train and perform with the Augusta Ballet. Currently Joey is producing a series of ballroom dancing instructional videos.
